Hydraulic Nuts
Hydraulic nuts are precision-engineered fastening components used to apply controlled and consistent clamping force in high-load or high-pressure applications. They are designed to simplify the process of tightening and loosening large bolts that would otherwise require considerable manual effort or torque tools.
Hydraulic nuts use hydraulic pressure to expand a built-in piston, which in turn pushes against a bearing surface. This generates the required tension on the bolt. Once the desired preload is achieved, the nut is mechanically locked in place, and the hydraulic pressure is released—leaving the bolt securely fastened.
